A year gone by

It's been exactly one year since I last posted. I have wanted to break my silence many times, but haven't known quite what to say...plus, since there are now two boys , I couldn't keep on posting under the chronicles of just Xavi...

There is too much to say but for today, I just want to celebrate one beautiful little life; Nico Felipe turned TWO today. It was one of those days that's left me exhausted and breathless...by the sheer energy of one little two year old (and his almost four year old brother) and by the unmerited blessing of being a mama to these two boys. 

I don't know what tomorrow will bring but for this moment, I want to memorialize my gratitude and utter brokenness for this breath of life. Mercy. Grace. Patience. Forgiveness. Love. AND two boys. 

God bless you Nico. And Xavi, potentially the world's best big brother. I love you both.
